Honggang Liao is “Minjiang scholar professor” in Xiamen university and Awardee of High-level National Young Talents. His research focus on the development of in-situ electron microscopy technology and its application in material science, electrocatalysis, energy storage and conversion processes. Completed early demonstration research on in-situ liquid phase transmission electron microscopy, published over 100 papers in journals such as Science, Nature and its subsidiaries, etc., and more than 60 patents and software copyrights. He developed series of in-situ electron microscopy chips and holder systems, which have been widely used in fundamental research and industry applications.
